Wirklich verrückt oder doch ganz normal!!!

Was steckt dahinter?

Jacob: Oh nein.

English Version:

Very Crazy or just normal!!!

  1. Please, Introduces you to my readers!

Jacob: I am Jacob from the band STOP STOP. We are from Barceloninga it´s a place in the Midland, we created it…..haha (a big laughing from Jacob and myself!).

  1. How we can see and hear you still lives in the 80s. Why just this music style?

Jacob:  Well, we don´t live in the 80s. We live in 2015 and we are here. Our kind of music is a mix from the 70s, 80s and 90s and it´s nothing to do with the real hair glam stuff. It´s glamrock, haha. I have to confess it´s glamrock but our own way.

  1. Are you sometimes also glad to dismiss all the whole glamlook and make up?

Jacob: We are not normal at all. We always do very weird things, strange things everywhere. Because it´s so funny, yes!

  1. Your background is very interesting. Tell how you become together and where all from you was born!

Jacob: I was born in Menorca moved to Barcelona in 1998 and formed my first band STOP STOP, from Barcelona to Milan-Italy in 2002, back to Barcelona in 2003, from Barcelona to Los Angeles C.A. USA in 2006,( and definitive return to Barcelona in 2007) playing in the street for a few coins in Barcelona (Spain) and Milan (Italy) or living in a van in Sunset Boulevard in L.A. (USA) behind the “Whiskey a Go Go” are just a few of many anecdotes that I has lived to find the right people for this band. There have been many people who got in and out but in the end no one stayed. I met Vega 2009 in Barcelona and he always wanted to do: sex, rock and more sex! So I give him a chance. So welcome in the new band. We had another drummer before Danny Stix comes in our band. He comes from Bulgaria Sofia and he moved to Barcelona. It was definitely that what we searched for a skinny boy with that massive hair and drumming loud like a badass motherfucker.

  1. Why did you named your Band STOP STOP and which idea was it?

Jacob:  Because Stop signs gives everywhere. Back in the days when I was playing on the streets 10years ago the police always stopped me: The say STOP, I said what……Police STOP….You STOP STOP. And one Day I said wait it could be a cool name for a band like these…..So here we have STOP STOP!!!

  1. I already seen you on the HEAT Festival in Ludwigsburg and you are very great on stage. Are you always so cool or do you also have sometimes bad days on stage?

Jacob:  Well, I don´t really think we are cool or good. We just do whatever we feel to have to do. And what you see on stage, it´s what we feel we have to do. It´s nothing to do pretending other things. It´s what we like to do and let us doing this way. Thank you very much when people like it……These days rock´n roll has become a very boring thing. Normal guys with normal T-Shirts with normal jeans and everybody suck their cock. It´s not working. You gotta earn people´s attention like they feel, they see it. It´s peoples concert and not the bands. Everyone should have fun, it´s like 50/50! Do you have a good entertainment, so you got them!

  1. How does your private Live looks like.  I mean do you have a family, friends and how does all react what you do?

Jacob:  My family has been all life rock´n roll already. But I don´t get to see them. Because I live together with my bandmades in England (Birmingham) already three years ago and left everything behind in our country.  We left our jobs, our friends, our girlfriends and started playing, playing and playing and everything got in good shape. That´s it. Our Make up, it´s not always there but I do it sometimes for fun.

  1. Do you want to be contentious in relation to your coverpicture, the titletrack and in the songs.  What lies behind it?

Jacob:  OH no. Jesus Christ was a hippy. Nobody was listening to him. You know properly “Join the Party” it´s a big bull shit about what they told you that’s what we believe. You look this Jesus Christ is smoking, drinking Jack Daniels and it´s pretty fun, why not! Forget about the world who selling for you. You got your own house, your own nice car and your wife and fuck everything and you are going to be happy. No, No “Join The Party” is break all the shells you´ve got in these living and enjoy your time, because it´s so fucking short!!! You better do it fast! haha

  1. Anyway, a great strategy.  I like and love the songs. How the album sells? Are you satisfied with the sale?

Jacob:  In the 80s, 90s we sell our album by ourself because it was no other way back then. Considering these days we selling lowbudget CDs after the gigs. It´s not in the stores, it´s not on the downloads. That´s how it happens and people like it.

  1. What are your whises for the future?

Jacob: Keep doing what we do. And we are happy to playing everywhere. Most of touring in the UK in small clubs, pubs or big stages. We living our dream and wish keep going this way. We don´t care about anything. We want to have our show, our Time wherever it is, our shit on the stage.

  1. Which dreams and plans do you have in the next time?

Jacob:  We´ve got lots festival this year for example we are going to play in the Rocklahoma Festival in May, Retrospect Rockfest with Quiet Riot, Warrant….. We are playing The Godney Gathering Festival with Garslade Farm, UB40…. And Touring Touring Touring in Switzerland and Germany. We live our dreams now and have an interview with you lady, hahaha…..That´s my life and my dream.

  1. Last words:

Jacob: Well your motherfuckers! This is STOP STOP and we are ready to rock. If you want to “Join the Party” you´re more than welcome. Thank you very much Odette and to everybody to support Rock´n Roll.
